If you have came to the salon within the past 20 years and one month you know Grandma Penny. I appreciate every five minutes,10 minutes, or an hour that you spent talking to my grandmother about whatever. It meant the entire world to her to come to the salon and talk to people. The one thing that a lot of people don’t know is that when I open my salon in 2001 she was there every day answering the phones sweeping dusting for months on end until I had coworkers. Then she also set up my business, did my QuickBooks and my sales tax for years after that. In her 70’’s! At one point she said let me teach you how to do this and I was so thankful. But from that day forward she still showed up every single day and took my deposits or whatever I needed she did. Or just sweep the floor. We used to joke and say that she was my personal assistant. She was a true fixture of the salon and We will all miss her dearly! May God bless her soul and she Rest In Peace❤️
