This is one of my favorite shots from Tunnel View (Yosemite Valley) I’ve taken, but I almost didn’t come up due to the rain forecast. Everywhere I looked, the view was like a slowly shifting painting. I felt profoundly lucky to be there.

A desert poppy, not the California orange one, but still prolific here...
