Our new Pages to Projector Book Club is for fans of books and movies. Share excitement for both books and movies as we discuss a book to movie adaptation. Unlike a traditional book club, it’s okay if you’ve only seen the movie. Each meeting takes place on the last Tuesday of every month. This month we are talking about The Hunger Games! Meet us in the David L. and Rita E. Nelson Family Fund Unconference Room Tuesday, June 30 at 6 pm.

Join us for School-Age STEAM on Mondays! Two sessions available: 1-2:30 pm or 3:30-5 pm. This week's theme is Wild Weather! Stop by the library to make a mini wild weather shelter and see a tornado in a jar. School-Age STEAM is for grades K-6. Drop in when you can; our tables will be ready. Registration is not required.

Join the Appleton Historical Society and us on Thursday, July 23 at 6 pm for a special event with former NFL player and author Dr. George Koonce Jr., discussing his book Is There Life After Football? Surviving the NFL.

A Super Bowl # # champion with the Green Bay Packers, Dr. Koonce will share powerful insights on the challenges athletes face after leaving professional sports—including career change, identity, and life beyond the game.

Whether you're a football fan, interested in sports culture, or curious about the human stories behind professional athletics, this engaging discussion will provide a deeper understanding of what happens when the cheering stops and a new chapter begins.

After the program, attendees are invited to tour the football exhibit at the Appleton History Museum, located at 231 W. Franklin St.
