We are officially one week away from our Volunteerism Roundtable, facilitated with Melissa Jagodinsky from Volunteer Fox Cities and Uriah Williams of Shawano Area United Way.

Our summer BoardBound program wrapped up this morning with our fourth and final module, featuring an engaging panel discussion with local nonprofit Executive Directors and board members.

Participants had the opportunity to hear firsthand from nonprofit leaders about what board service looks like within their organizations, how they recruit and onboard new board members, the qualities they value most, and what makes an effective board member in support of their mission. The panel organizations were selected by our BoardBound participants based on the nonprofits they were most interested in learning more about, making for a thoughtful and meaningful conversation.

Join NPLI and the Goodman Nonprofit Center this Fall for Financial Leadership, facilitated by Steve Zimmerman of Spectrum Nonprofit Services. Over 8 hybrid sessions, Steve dives deep into nonprofit finances, helping nonprofit staff and board members understand the true cost of programming and how to build a sustainability mindset for your mission.
