"Normal." That's what his semen analysis said, so that's where they stopped looking.
She'd been the one doing everything. Tracking, testing, adjusting. His one test came back inside the range, got a nod, and got filed away. Months kept passing.
When we actually looked at his results, "normal" meant he'd cleared the minimum threshold and nothing more.
There was real room to work with on his side, and a three month window to do it in, because the s***m a man uses is developed over the roughly 64 to 74 days beforehand.
We built a plan around reducing oxidative stress and inflammation during that window, for both of them.
Fertility is never a one person job.
If you've been carrying the whole thing while his side got a single glance, that's worth revisiting.

You beat the cancer.
You got through the chemo.
And then you were left with hands and feet that burn, tingle, and go numb, and someone told you that part is just permanent now.
I want to talk to you specifically, because chemo-induced neuropathy is one of the most responsive things I treat.
Here's why. The thing that caused it, the chemo, is already behind you. There's no ongoing damage still happening. So when we go to work on those nerves, they have a real chance to recover, and because the cause is gone, that recovery tends to hold.
I won't tell you it's a cure, because that's not a word I throw around. What I'll tell you is what I see in my office: people with burning, painful feet from chemo often feel a real difference within the first month, after just a handful of treatments. It's some of the most rewarding work I do.
If chemo left you with neuropathy and you were told to just live with it, please don't accept that as the final answer.

I know I know...it's been a while since I've posted about myself and my own health
I've lost 50 pounds since February. Same scrubs, A LOT more room. The picture doesn't quite show how baggy they are. But that's not what most of my patients come to see me for.
They come in exhausted by 2pm. Or feeling sick every time they eat. Or with hormones that are all over the place, or joints that ache for no reason they can name. And one of the first places we look is the food.
Not a diet. Not the scale. What you're putting in your body and how it's quietly showing up as fatigue, nausea, inflammation, and pain. Because what we eat doesn't just affect our weight. It affects everything.
I don't ask anyone to overhaul their life. We find the one or two specific changes that matter for your body, and we build from there. Three patients did exactly that this past week and the difference in how they feel is real.
And I'm doing the same work I ask of them. I'm not going to recommend anything I'm not living myself.
If you're tired, foggy, off after meals, intermittent nausea, or hurting and nobody has looked at what you're actually eating, give me a call.

She came in for the neuropathy. The burning in her feet that kept her up at night, the numbness that made her scared to drive after dark. Three doctors had told her the same thing: nerve damage, take the gabapentin, learn to live with it.
She was 58. She did not want to "learn to live with it."
When I actually looked at what was happening, the picture was bigger than her feet. Her blood sugar was running high for years before anyone called it a problem.
Her circulation was poor. Her body had been quietly starving those nerves of what they needed to repair, and no one had addressed why the nerves were dying in the first place. They just medicated the pain signal.
We went after the root. Improved the circulation. Supported the nerves directly.
Addressed the metabolic piece nobody had connected to her feet.
She texted me recently after she walked her dog last week. Something she had stopped doing entirely.
Your neuropathy is not a life sentence. It is a signal that something underneath needs attention. The burning, the numbness, the pins and needles, those are your nerves asking for help, not announcing a permanent verdict.
If you have been told to just live with it, I want to talk to you.

She fell asleep in my office before we even started her consultation.
60+ years old. She came to see me because she couldn't function at work anymore. Not "a little tired." Sleeping through her day. Her business was suffering.
We're not even a month in. Between the in-office treatments, the dietary changes, and the supplement recommendations, she's a completely different person.
Awake. Energized. Functioning.
It's not just needles and it's not just eating better. It's figuring out what your body actually needs and addressing all of it at the same time.
She did her part too. She followed every recommendation because she was desperate enough to actually listen.
That combination is unbeatable.
If you're exhausted and you can't figure out why, I want to hear what's going on.

This year is brutal. I am not just saying that.
Even I have been dealing with it!
Sneezing. Congestion. Itchy eyes. Fatigued no matter how much sleep you get.
If you have been feeling like you just cannot shake something this spring, you are not imagining it.
It is genuinely worse this year.
But here is what most people don't know: your immune system is not supposed to overreact to pollen.
When it does, it means something else is already off. Usually your gut, your liver, or your nervous system is under enough stress that your body is treating harmless things like threats.
Seasonal allergies are not a pollen problem. They are an immune regulation problem.
This is exactly where acupuncture and Chinese medicine shine, and it is one of the most underused applications of what I do.
Acupuncture is preventative medicine. It works by regulating the immune system before it goes haywire, calming the inflammatory response, and supporting the organs responsible for clearing histamine and processing environmental stress.
I have patients who used to dread Spring and Fall every year. They don't anymore.
If you are already deep in it right now, we can work on that too.
But the best time to start is before next season hits.
Your immune system needs support year round, not just when you are suffering.
If this is the year you stop just surviving allergy season, I want to talk to you.
