Some trees can still be saved. Others… we get the call a little too late. 🌳💔

Over the years, our team has helped save countless ash trees through proactive Emerald Ash Borer treatments, and we’re gearing up to restart this year’s injection program soon. But while one part of our team is protecting healthy trees, another is still working through the ash trees that didn’t get treated in time.

This project shows both sides of what we do.

➡️ A massive dead ash being safely removed with surprisingly compact equipment designed to work efficiently and carefully around your property.

➡️ A full transformation in one trip — from hazardous dead ash tree… to stump grinding… to a brand new river birch planted in its place. Swipe through the photos to watch it evolve. 🌱

Losing mature trees is never easy, but helping homeowners restore their landscapes is one of the most rewarding parts of the job.

If you still have ash trees on your property, now is the time to have them evaluated before it’s too late.

Can You Plant a Tree Immediately After a Stump Grind? 10/21/2025

🌳 Can You Plant a Tree Right After a Stump Grind? 🌳

Absolutely — and Lowney’s Tree Service just proved it! 💪

After removing a large ash tree that sadly fell victim to the Emerald Ash Borer, our crew wasted no time. In just 90 minutes, we dropped and ground the massive ash into chips and mulch — and replanted a beautiful Heritage River Birch in its place. 🌿✨

While it’s always tough to lose a tree, it’s rewarding to start the next chapter with new growth. 🌱💚
