Today we honor Martin Luther King Jr.
In 1963 King helped organize the March on Washington, an assembly of more than 200,000 people at which he made his famous “I Have a Dream” speech. The march influenced the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and King was awarded the 1964 Nobel Prize for Peace.

Our next LSA student organization meeting is TOMORROW NIGHT (10/10) from 5:30-6:30PM at the Neenah Public Library!! (240 E. Wisconsin Ave, Neenah WI). I will meet all students interested in attending at the main entrance of the Neenah Public Library at 5:30PM SHARP. I have been able to coordinate with David Keck (supervising attorney) who helps run the Fox Valley Free Legal Clinics. Instead of having a traditional student meeting, we are going to learn about the free legal clinics and students will get hands on experience helping out!! Please email me by 4PM on Tuesday 10/10 if you plan on joining so I can have a head count. Please also wear business attire for this meeting.

Join LSA for our social outing this coming Sunday 9/24 from Noon-3pm to watch the Packers v. Saints game at The Bar on Lyndale (Appleton, WI). Not a football fan?? No problem!! Come for the wings and conversation!

Welcome to the new (and improved) student organization - LSA (Legal Studies Association) at FVTC!! If you have an interest in the law, please feel free to join any of our meetings and events.

The mission of LSA is to promote the legal studies field through networking among members and the legal community; encourage professional growth and ethical responsibility; provide additional information regarding duties, functions, and responsibilities within the legal field; and increase awareness of the Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC) Legal Studies/Paralegal Program on campus and in the community.
