We are looking for an experienced fun and enthusiastic part-time dental assistant!!
At Ben Romenesko Family Dental, our priority is to deliver quality care to informed patients in a comfortable and convenient setting. We focus on educating patients, helping them to make decisions that benefit their overall health. We have 1 full time dentist, Dr Ben Romenesko and 1 part-time dental, Dr Theresa Adamczyk that works on Wednesdays and an occasional Friday
Job Description: Looking for an experienced part-time dental assistant for 1 day a week (Wednesday) 7:45am – 5pm. (lunch 12-1) to work with Dr Theresa, there may be an occasional need for a Friday.
Duties Include:
-Preparing patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures
-Assisting the dentist with exams and procedures
-Comfortable taking digital x-rays
-Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
-Comfortable going over treatment plans with patients and discussing costs
-Maintaining accurate documentation on dental procedures
Skills/Qualifications :
-Excellent communication skills, verbal & written
-Ability to multi-task and be a team player
-Knowledge with dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Proficient in using dental software (Curve Hero preferred)
-Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Aseptic technique & PPE knowledge for infection control
