A Magnificent Monday here on Packard! It may have been cloudy and overcast today, but the sun was shining inside the building!
Here's some of what we did today...

Monday Morning Stroll--our guys dominate the morning walks.

Muscles Monday--working our entire body using handweights.

BINGO!!--several residents participated, and some pop in and out. Everyone won a game today, and Lori was our top winner with 3 wins! She pulled out early, since she kept winning. She had the lucky card!

Activity Points Store--the residents had the opportunity to spend their points they earned for participating in Exercise, Bingo, Creative Corner, & Resident Council. They enjoy looking at everything that is on the cart.

The residents thoroughly enjoyed singing along with Rob and laughing or booing his corny jokes! 😆 Check out all the smiles in the pics, and see them singing along. This was Rob's second time here, and we are loving him!

Barbershop Club💈--after the performance I had time to do about 4 shaves on some of our bearded gents. They all look so handsome!
We have a beautician come to do haircuts.

Monday Night Movie--after supper the residents are settling in their rooms or watching a movie together. 📽

Social Saturday on Packard at Silverstone

We started our morning with a light, fun walk outside in the warm sunshine and nice cool breeze. It was beautiful seeing all the flowers and colors that Kelly has been working so hard on planting.

After our walk, we came inside for coffee, cookies, and conversation. Today we enjoyed ginger snaps and chocolate chip cookies. Since it was Drive-In Movie Day, we talked about memories of going to drive-in movie theaters and favorite movies from over the years. Percy shared that his brother used to put the film in at a drive-in theater where he grew up, which was such an interesting story to hear.

After lunch, we went out on the patio to enjoy the sunshine. We planned on outdoor games, but instead we relaxed, visited, and enjoyed each other’s company with lots of laughter and great conversation.

We ended our day with a movie matinee and freshly popped popcorn while watching Rescued by Ruby.

Billy will be here tomorrow for karaoke. See everyone next week!
