Forever & ever, Mr. & Mrs. Langreder!
Some love stories begin with a grand gesture.
Theirs started with a tee time.
On their very first date, Rachael beat Collin in a round of golf. What started as a friendly little competition became the start of a lifetime together. So when it came time to celebrate their wedding day, it only felt fitting to exchange vows overlooking the fairways.

Birthdays should be less about getting older and more about reflecting back on your life’s milestones.
This year, I can’t stop thinking about the 18 year old girl I was who photographed her first wedding. I fell in love with the art of photography, though I had been accepted into college to become a chiropractor. It was the safe option that made sense on paper.
But photography was the thing that lit me up.
So I made what felt like a wildly irresponsible decision at the time: I bet on myself.
No backup plan. Just a camera, an unhealthy amount of determination, and a deep conviction that this was what I was meant to do.
I still remember what it felt like to be the youngest person in every room. To have to prove myself before being taken seriously. Now, I’ve built a strong reputation with couples and vendors and as of today, I’ve photographed 631 weddings and sessions. (Yes, I counted them all!)
It’s humbling to realize that what began as a dream has become my life’s work. I’ve traveled all over the world, met incredible people, and have been trusted to preserve some of the most meaningful moments in a family’s history.
What an honor that is.
And while this career is far from easy, I still feel that same fire and ambition as I did when I first picked up a camera. As I celebrate another year, I find myself thankful for the girl who was brave enough to trust where her heart led her.
So here’s to another year older, I think little Kayla would be pretty proud 🥂

“I don’t know how to pose.”
It’s a phrase I hear from couples all the time. And truthfully, you shouldn’t have to.
That’s why you hire someone you trust. Someone who knows how to guide you into photographs that feel natural, flattering, and effortless, while also giving you the freedom to simply be present with one another.
The most meaningful images are rarely the perfectly posed ones. They’re the moments in between. The flower girl carefully fluffing your dress. A quick hug from Grandma as she passes by during portraits. The way your brand new husband looks at you and makes you smile.
At every wedding, I intentionally carve out time for my couples to step away from the celebration and take a walk together. No expectations, just a chance to soak it all in, hold hands, and talk about their favorite moments of the day so far. Those conversations and genuine reactions often become some of the most treasured photographs of the entire wedding day.
My job is knowing when to gently direct and when to step back. To create images that are both beautifully composed and deeply felt. Because years from now, you’ll remember far more than the beauty of the day… you’ll remember how it felt.
