We are Closed.

I never thought I'd say this, but after nearly 30 years in rescue, with a very heavy heart, I am closing my doors. Those of you who know me personally, know the agony it has cost me to make this decision, and for those of you who don't, please know it has been a hard one to make, forced by dire personal reasons. I am just not at liberty to disclose them. For many years I have helped a lot of needy animals; cats, dogs, horses, chickens...anything that needed help was welcome, with only my own funds. I received my first ever donation, several months ago. Now it is I who need the help. I have several kittens and a couple of adult cats who need homes. I am hoping those in the rescue community, rescuers or just the general public, can step up to help find these guys a home. Please send me a private message if you can help. It will be very welcome. Something's up with Kali's eye. She's held it closed all day, and it's watering a lot. I'm not sure if she and Sheba had a spat, and Sheba whacked her, or if she got something in it. I've put some Teramycin in it for tonight, and if it's not better by morning, it's off to the vet we go. Just when you get to a point where you can breathe financially, something else happens. Please send positive thoughts for a good outcome. We can't afford another vet bill right now.
