Veterinarians not only take care of animals, but we also take care of people by ensuring that our food supplies are safe, preventing illnesses from spreading between animals and people, working on research and developing new medications that can help both animals and people, working in the armed forces, caring for working animals, teaching, working in zoos, and many other things!!
