Yesterday was truly a blessed day at Delta Bay Community Church as we gathered to celebrate Father’s Day and honor the men who lead, love, sacrifice, and leave a lasting legacy.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for an incredible worship experience filled with great music, heartfelt fellowship, and an inspiring word that challenged us to consider the legacy we are leaving for future generations.

A special thank you goes to our Ladies Ministry for providing a wonderful spread and helping make the day extra special for our well-deserving fathers. Your service, generosity, and attention to detail helped create a warm and memorable celebration for everyone in attendance.
We are grateful for every father, grandfather, mentor, and father figure who continues to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

Thank you for celebrating with us. We look forward to worshiping with you again next week at Delta Bay Community Church. God bless!

What kind of legacy are you leaving behind?

In 1 Kings 2:1–4, David gives Solomon his final words of wisdom, reminding him to walk in God’s ways, remain faithful, and lead with integrity. This passage shows us that a lasting legacy is not built on wealth, success, or titles—it is built on obedience to God and a life that honors Him.

This Father’s Day, join us as we explore what it means to leave a legacy that impacts generations. Whether you're a father, grandfather, mentor, or someone seeking direction for your own life, this message will encourage and challenge you to build on what truly lasts.

Join us Sunday at 10:00 AM at Delta Bay Community Church as Pastor Dr. Lamont A. Francies shares a powerful message, “A Legacy That Lasts.”
We look forward to worshiping with you and your family.

Tonight, we proudly celebrated Juneteenth while honoring the strength, dedication, and legacy of Black fathers in our community.

The evening was filled with fellowship, great food, meaningful conversations, music, free haircuts for our youth, and heartfelt recognition of the fathers, grandfathers, mentors, and father figures who make a lasting impact every day. Events like these remind us of the power of community, the importance of celebrating our history, and the value of uplifting one another.

We extend our sincere gratitude to sponsors and community partners: NAMI Contra Costa County, 40 Voices AAHWRH and the Delta Bay Community Church whose generosity, partnership, and commitment helped make this event possible. Your support allowed us to create a memorable evening that celebrated freedom, family, culture, and Black excellence.

We also thank our volunteers, barbers, vendors, speakers, and community members who contributed their time, talent, and service to ensure the success of this special celebration.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event such a meaningful gathering. Together, we continue to honor the past, celebrate the present, and build a stronger future for generations to come.

The Power of His Presence | 1 Samuel 5:1–8

What happens when the presence of God enters a place? In 1 Samuel 5:1–8, the Philistines placed the Ark of God beside their god Dagon, expecting their idol to stand strong. Instead, Dagon fell before the Lord, revealing that no power, authority, or false confidence can stand against the true and living God.

This passage reminds us that God's presence brings revelation, transformation, and victory. When we invite Him into our lives, He has the power to tear down what opposes His will and establish His purpose in us.

Join us this Sunday as we explore "The Power of His Presence" and discover how God's presence can change everything.
