The Rookie Pharmacist
I made 296 interactive flashcards for the NAPLEX Top 300 drugs — and they actually look good 👀 No app needed, no boring PDF. Just open, click, and study. Built by a pharmacist, for pharmacy students. Link in bio to grab yours.
Thank you to everyone who commented on my last video! 🙌 Many of you pointed out that Rybelsus® tablets are being phased out, and you were absolutely right. Here’s the official update:
Novo Nordisk is transitioning patients from Rybelsus® to Ozempic® tablets for type 2 diabetes. The active ingredient remains semaglutide, but the tablet strengths are not mg-for-mg interchangeable, so patients need a new prescription.
💊 Type 2 diabetes (oral):
• Start: Ozempic tablet 1.5 mg once daily for 30 days
• Then: 4 mg once daily
• If additional glycemic control is needed: 9 mg once daily
⚖️ Weight management (oral):
Use Wegovy® tablets, which have a different indication and titration schedule.
