Obituary:
Judith Lynn Wilson was called home to be with the Lord on July 2nd 2026 ending a 4 plus year struggle with Dementia. She was 82. Judy was born in Elton Wi July 24th 1943, the youngest child of the late William and Nettie ( Gee ) Combs. Judy went to grade scool at the little Elton school house and then White Lake High, graduating in 1961. She married her life's partner Delou George Wilson on December 9th 1961. Judith is survived by 4 children. Mark D Wilson, Madison. Rebecca L (James) Blakey, Hancock. Leigh Ann (Dan) Roehrig, Antigo, and Matthew J Wilson, Schofield. 11 grandchildren, Hannah, William, Amelia, Walter Blakey. Jessica, Jenifer, Elizabeth Wilson. Rachelle and Timothy Miller. DeLou Wilson and Bailee May Gustafson, and 17 great grandchildren, a brother, Maurice (Janie) Combs, Polar, and friend/sister in law, Peggy (Wayne) Wilson, Elton. Plus many nieces and nephews. Judith was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband Delou, 4 brothers Lee (Yvonne) Combs, Earl (Mary) Combs, William (Virginia) Combs, Carroll (Judy) Combs, sister Helen (Chet) Carpenter and great grandson, Jonathon Delou Wilson. Besides being a wife and mother, Judy worked at Copps Grocery for 26 years, the last 20 as the florist in Rose Petals flower shop in Antigo. Mom worked many many holidays doing arrangements and flowers, often working late for last minute stops. Corsages and boutineers for high school dances and proms. She crocheted and did silk arrangements at home, as her hands could never sit still. Later in life she loved to camp and travel with DeLou and family in their Motorhome. And after Dad passed, many trips all over with her sister Helen. Judith was a long time member of Homestead Church, Antigo, starting when they had Saturday evening services. She loved the worship teams music, and the teaching and preaching of pastor Steve, then pastor Dustin with her church family. Service for Judith will be held at Homestead Church, 710 Center St Antigo, Saturday July 11th. Visitation from 9:30 to 11am then service followed by a fellowship meal. In lieu of flowers, the family would like visitors to make donations to their local ' Walk to End Alzheimers ' organizations. Antigo's walk is September 19th 2026.
