FNN is gearing up for our 16th season of high school football coverage in East Central Alabama...and we need some new, talented folks to help us continue to grow.
We're looking for:
SHOW PRODUCER - A person who would be in charge of overseeing a pregame studio show or a postgame show. Knowledge of PTZ cameras and VMix software would be a huge plus.
ANNOUNCERS/TALENT - people who know the game of football and would be comfortable stepping into such roles as sideline reporter, studio host for pre- and post-game shows, interview situations with coaches, etc.
CAMERA OPS - Individuals who have some experience shooting live action spots with a tripod-mounted video camera.
ACTION STILL PHOTOGRAPHERS - People who have their own photo equipment that can shoot action photos at football games and other sporting events we wish to cover.
MARKETING REPRESENTATIVES - A person with an outside sales background or a willingness to go out into area businesses to professionally present our sponsorship opportunities.
INTERNS - Students who want to learn all aspects of live sports production and marketing, who will gain experience through spending a season with our company.
Other than internships, these are all paying positions. To join our family, we require people with integrity, a positive attitude, a love of high school sports, and a high standard of work ethic.
All work will be within a 50-mile radius of Calhoun County, Alabama.
If you are interested in joining us, DM us with your name and contact number along with the position you feel you would be most suited for.
From a Georgia site:
Sources around Birmingham have indicated that certain head coaches (including some who are reportedly on the Task Force) have enlisted their own players in an attempt to entrap coaches at other schools.
The process, as described to me by three separate sources, works like this: The player, at the request of his head coach, contacts select schools around the area, steers the conversation by providing the questions to be asked during the call, and records the conversation.
The head coach then takes that recording and runs it up the chain within their district. From there, it is sent to the alleged “offender’s” school district for their review.
This has already reportedly cost one assistant coach his job. Another coach did not take the bait after the attempt was made earlier this spring.
Lesson of the day: Assume you are being recorded at all times.
