SCK Contractors is seeking experienced Commercial Construction Superintendant to join our team!

SCK Contractors LLC is a Commercial General Contractor operating for over 14 years in the DC, MD and VA area. We handle medium to large scale contracts up to $5 million.

The primary role will be coordinating all site construction activities and supervising all field personnel as required to successfully complete projects on schedule and within budget. The candidate for this position MUST excel at meeting with contractors/subs and coordinating the buyout schedule.

Core Responsibilities:

*Responsible for the overall jobsite operations, including supervising the work activities of the subcontractors and vendors.

*Responsible for the field manpower organization to ensure the job site organization is composed of qualified and knowledgeable personnel, including those of the subcontractors and ensures effective personnel utilization.

*Establishes material and equipment requirements.

*Controls jobsite expenditures for labor, equipment, material and ensures field operations are within budget.

*Conducts detailed inspections after each trade has completed its tasks and before any work is authorized for payment

*Overseeing work among assigned trades.

*Manages the overall site safety program as required and ensures subcontractor compliance with company standards and all applicable safety codes and regulations.

*Must work closely with Construction Coordinator/Project Manager to assure all change orders and RFIs are kept up with and distributed in a timely manner

Efficiently managing the workflow to successfully achieve project completion on schedule.

*Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions regarding the project Knowledge of specifications and drawings.

Qualifications/Experience:

-5 years of construction experience; prior project management experience a plus

-Prior experience in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of commercial construction

-Displays strong written and verbal communication skills and employs effective listening skills Analyzes problems and makes sound decisions in a timely manner based on objectives, risks, implications and costs

-Tactful and mature demeanor with well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with diverse personalities

-Drawing reading and layout -- expert

-Math and reading layout -- intermediate

-Computer literacy - intermediate

-Procore Software Used.
