Tate Remade

In a world that is overstimulating creating this place of peace feels right. Progress in our main bedroom is looking like picking lights. We are inching closure to Sheetrock friends, that will be a very happy week!

We are nearly 3 months of construction on our home, and this week we are beginning to feel the hope of what we started! It’s been a wild time deconstructing a house made of concrete, throwing away essentially everything we bought, and starting from the bones up; but hope is real! We are onto framing, plumbing, and then electrical. Meanwhile, I’m staying up late working and dreaming about design. Wish us luck!

I felt like this miracle of a bedroom deserved a little place on my feed. Refreshed this room for my sister before she welcomes her second baby into her family. ♥️🥹 this gave me so much joy.

We have been in our home for 2 weeks officially. The first room we’ve completed in preparing for the holidays is our guest room, which seems fitting for us. This house feels like a Christmas miracle, and I want this room to be a sweet gift to others. Its odd angles make it feel extra cozy, like you’re in a secret bright and happy space.
