The Reiki Influence

I sat inside a restaurant for the first time in like a year. The rain forced my friend and I indoors and the place was mostly empty and it was so easy to social distance. I had a cup of coffee in a real cup. I felt the warm recognition of something I once enjoyed returning to me. I felt...well like myself, but a whole lotta of different at the same time. Then my friend .said.done said this while she was so full of presence. She meant every word. I got chills. So I say yes to this powerful life affirming mantra.

Roses are red. Violets are blue. Homemade blackberry butter cream frosting on top of soft chewy sugar cookies are the best, and so are you!

I added a pinch of reiki right before these amazing reduced-sugar GF treats went into the oven.

I’m noticing that if I stop the clutter and worry in my brain, then I can set small intentions for what I’m doing next, while always holding the greater intention/goal/focus of happiness. Not only choosing what makes me but choosing the happiest path to what’s next. This is serving me in that I’m really enjoying the trip and loving myself along the way instead of being caught up in the destination. What is making you happy today? 👇
