ពួកយើងបានផ្ញើលិខិតថ្លែងអំណរគុណទៅកាន់គណៈកម្មាធិការកាកបាទក្រហមអន្តរជាតិ (ICRC) ដោយសម្តែងការដឹងគុណយ៉ាងជ្រាលជ្រៅចំពោះការយកចិត្តទុកដាក់ និងការបំពេញភារកិច្ចមនុស្សធម៌របស់ពួកគេ ក្នុងការមើលថែ និងការពារទាហានទាំង ១៨ នាក់ របស់ពួកយើង ពីគ្រប់ទម្រង់នៃការធ្វើបាប ឬការធ្វើទារុណកម្ម ស្របតាម អនុសញ្ញាទីក្រុងហ្សឺណែវ លើកទី៣ (Third Geneva Convention)។

នៅក្នុងគ្រាដ៏លំបាកនេះ​ សូមបងប្អូនមេត្ដាបន្តសរសេរលិខិត ឬញត្តិទៅកាន់សមាជិកសភា ព្រឹទ្ធសភា ដែលជាតំណាងរបស់ពួកយើងនៅតាមរដ្ឋនិមួយៗ ក៏ដូចជារដ្ឋាភិបាលអាមេរិករបស់ពួកយើង ដើម្បីជំរុញឱ្យពួកគេយកចិត្តទុកដាក់ ជួយដោះស្រាយវិបត្តិដែលមាតុភូមិរបស់ពួកយើងកំពុងប្រឈមមុខ និងដាក់សម្ពាធភាគីថៃឱ្យគោរពកិច្ចព្រមព្រៀង (Cambodia–Thailand Peace Declaration)។

Dear Cambodian-Americans,
In this painful moment for our beloved motherland, I call upon all of us to stand together. Please continue writing letters and petitions to our state representatives, Senators, and the U.S. government. Let us urge them to focus their attention on the crisis Cambodia is facing and to press Thailand to honor the Cambodia–Thailand Peace Declaration—a promise made for peace.

This is one of the most meaningful acts we can take for our homeland, even from afar.
For when our people suffer, we suffer.
When our land trembles, our hearts tremble with it.
No matter where we live, we remain Khmer—bound by the same roots, the same history, and the same unbreakable love for our nation.

ជនរួមជាតិជាទីគោរព​​ និងជាទីរាប់អាន!

Mr. Jürg Montani, Head of the Regional Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), has responded to us, confirming that the ICRC will:
👉 Continue to remain actively engaged in this matter
👉 Continue conducting regular visits to our 18 Cambodian soldiers
👉 Ensure that our soldiers maintain contact with their families
👉 Maintain confidential bilateral dialogue with both parties to the conflict

He also reaffirmed that the ICRC carries out its mandate with strict respect for humanitarian principles—impartiality, neutrality, and independence—in full accordance with the Geneva Conventions.

🇰🇭 This is an essential assurance for all of us who are striving to protect the safety, dignity, and fundamental rights of our people.
