For over 50 years, All-Met represented the best of DMV basketball through the pages of The Washington Post. When that chapter closed, Capitol Hoops and Sparc stepped in to carry the tradition forward and we were brought in to shape its next era.

Our approach was simple: honor the history, elevate the ex*****on. We designed a full logo suite and visual system that nods to the original newspaper aesthetic while introducing a cleaner, more modern edge. From primary marks to category sub-brands and social content that feels straight off the press, this project was all about preserving legacy while pushing it forward.
