Classic Learning Test

In many high school classrooms today, students are lucky if they are assigned one unabridged book to read cover to cover. Chances are even slimmer that the book assigned is considered a classic of the tradition. Only 50 years ago, a majority of high schoolers were graduating with a foundational knowledge of context for their present circumstances. They were exposed to some of the best that has been written down through the ages about what it means to be a human being. Let’s bring that kind of education back!
