I was remodeling a bathroom in Arnold Maryland and during the process a rain storm hit us and water was dripping through the ceiling fairly quickly right where we had just started removing drywall! At first I thought maybe a plumbing leak due to how much water was coming through once we opened up the dry wall but no it was coming through the roof! There was a layer of plastic v***r barrier protecting the drywall for the most part but this leak had been doing some damages to the wooden structures above without notice for quite some time. Luckily I was able to help my clients out by documenting this and assisting them with submitting it to their insurance company who paid for a brand new roof ! With money already set aside for a new bathroom , a new roof was the last thing they had planned for but me and my team were able to document the storm damages and they had a brand new roof in no time after paying just their deductible .
