Washtenaw County has significantly lower foreclosures listings (6%) than the US average. Short Sale closings in Washtenaw County (10%) exceed the Washtenaw County foreclosure listings.
Foreclosures made up one in four home sales Homes in some stage of foreclosure accounted for 24% of all home sales during the fourth quarter, down only slightly from the year before, according to RealtyTrac.
Today, in Washtenaw County, there are only 805 homes for sale compared to ~1700 ten years ago. 74 are short sales and 60 are bank owned.
