Glass, metal and window blinds.

I’m quite interested in the relationship we have with everyday objects. Craft is a tool which can highlight this relationship. Stained glass preforms the same utility as PVC blinds by providing shade and privacy. How do they relate?
Cheap or expensive. Fragile or durable. Cold or warm. Mass produced or hand made.
