Tyler Duncan

I'm in an Irish(ish) band called the olllam and we just released our second album - 10 years after our first. There was a long time where I wasn't sure if we would ever make another record, and damn I am so glad we did. It's a special and unique project to me in many ways: it's with my childhood musical hero, a legendary Irish piper named John McSherry, it's with my dear friend collaborator since I was 16, Michael Shimmin, it's with another long time friend and collaborator since HE was a teen, Joe Dart, and it's how I feel I have the opportunity to show my gratitude to Ireland, Irish music, the culture, the history, the people. Ireland has been a huge part of my life, it is incredibly dear to my heart, and having the opportunity to contribute to the culture in some small way means the world to me.
