Isn’t he sweet!!! Tear down day is always a bummer as the season has come to an end. Grateful for these mild temperatures though so we can get everything packed away in the next few days…

I'm sure everyone is tired of Christmas music by now and has even packed up decorations in their own houses. But if for some reason you still haven't seen our light show, it will be on for two more nights! The last night will be Sunday, January 4th and then I will be taking advantage of the warm temperatures early next week to pack everything up until next year. Stop by and see us at SE 17th Street and Berwick Drive in Ankeny!
Had to make some emergency adjustments to batten down the hatches this afternoon to try and survive this relentless wind so that our Christmas light show doesn’t blow to the North Pole!! We will still be twinkling nightly for probably another week with no firm end date yet so once the roads are safe to drive again, come out and see us!

It’s busy out there tonight! Street was packed and two Charters on Vine LLC trolleys came on top of all the vehicle traffic. Jameson and I quickly hopped on board to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!

It’s a beautiful night out to view some Christmas lights! No traffic yet over here in southeast Ankeny so come check out The Lighthouse!
Debuted this custom intro "launch" sequence on Friday night for family and friends as we went on a ride with Charters on Vine LLC trolley to tour Christmas lights. Since many of you aren't local, I figured I'd post it here for you to watch but I assure you it looks better in person. It's always fun to find a way to get the kids involved and recording their sweet little voices will help forever eternalize them because they are growing up too fast! Hope you enjoy it!

Hoping to install the final piece of our show this afternoon - a 4 foot snowflake! This is what the backside looks like. It’s important to follow the wiring diagram (think connect the dots) because each pixel will light up on command in order to create the visual effects. If you screw it up the effect won’t look right - no pressure, right?! 🤣
How many pixels do you think are on this one snowflake??? For those that know, hush hush :)
