Meet Katie

Hello! My name is Katie and I am so grateful to be part of the Treehouse and Study Loft family. I wear a few different hats here, serving as one of the Study Loft Directors, assist with directing our Treehouse location on West 1st Street, and working as one of our lead preschool teachers.
I joined Treehouse in the spring of 2017 after graduating from Iowa State University with a degree in Education. What began as an opportunity to continue my love of teaching has grown into so much more. Over the years, Treehouse has given me the chance to build meaningful relationships, grow as a leader, and continue doing what I love most—helping children learn, grow, and thrive.

When I’m not at work, my greatest joy is spending time with my family. I married my husband, Collin, in 2018, and together we have two boys, Brooks and Bryson. We love making memories with family and friends, enjoying the outdoors, and traveling whenever we get the chance.

I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of this team and to play a role in creating a nurturing, supportive environment for the children and families we serve each day. ❤️
