When the new year hits, you’re snowed in, and suddenly feel the urge to refresh your space…

At least once a year I need to switch things up a bit to make my space feel fresh & new again! The smallest changes make the biggest impact and get me feeling excited and re-energized.

Here are some of my favorite ways to switch it up:

🛋 rearrange the layout of the furniture in your room - switch up the angles, play with the order, flip flop the entire room even!

🌿 play with decor - restyle your built ins & book shelves. Move decor to different shelves & play with the order and flow. Move vases, photos, plants, books, etc. to give your space a fresh feel.

🤍add seasonal items - add and remove seasonal items to keep things changing every few months. These items can be small like throw pillows, door mats, front door wreaths, rugs, blankets, decor, etc.
