AMTA
12/04/2021
Although this is a little late, many of us in the AMTA are saddened by the passing of Mr. Keeney. Mr. Walliser gave a lot of credit to Mr. Keeney for making him a better Instructor and mentor to the rest of us. We were fortunate enough back about 10 years ago to have Mr. Keeney come up from Arkansas to give a one day clinic to all of us up in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. It was a memorable and fun day for many of us. A few of us were able to compete in many of the old USKA/PKC tournaments sponsored by this gentleman. It was fun to watch him stop walking across the tournament floor to watch two people during their match. I'm sure he was watching someone's style of fighting! I'll always be honored that he knew me by my first name! RIP Mr. Keeney. Keep the mats warm for us and say hello to Mr. Walliser for us!
