SBP - Brazoria County is proud to announce our first new build. This home is completely A.D.A. compliant and handicap accessible for the homeowner's special needs.11 NCCC AmeriCorps service members (ages 18-24) have come from all across our great nation to help our community. They are hard at work and learning new skills while assisting Brazoria County residents to recover from the devastation of Hurricane Harvey.

SBP encourages individuals and groups (clubs, sports teams, and youth groups etc.) ages 14+ to come and join us Mon-Fri 8:30-4:30 or the 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month.

We provide volunteers with experienced AmeriCorps project leads to teach basic construction techniques in a safe and positive environment.

You can make a difference and help return families displaced.

No construction experience is necessary! We provide the tools, materials, safety gear, and training!

*** WELCOME TO BRAZORIA COUNTY ***

We'd like to give a big warm welcome to the 11 members of the AmeriCorps NCCC - Water 2 (Class 26) team that have come to Brazoria County to assist in the recovery from Hurricane Harvey!

The 11 member team is made up of 18-24 year-olds from all over the United States including Alabama, Connecticut, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

Water 2 will be in Brazoria County for the next 6 weeks working alongside SBP - Brazoria County Brazoria County Long Term Recovery Committee & the United Way of Brazoria County rebuilding and repairing homes that were damaged by Hurricane Harvey.

AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) is a full-time, residential, team-based AmeriCorps program for young adults, age 18-24. Members develop leadership skills and strengthen communities by completing service projects and gaining life experience.
