Summer at the Library Week 2 Photo Dump!

The Houston Museum of Natural Science visited this week to teach us all about dinosaurs, and they brought some awesome fossils with them. We learned new dinosaur facts, and it was very exciting getting to see (and touch) the fossils. We'd like to give a big THANK YOU to TDECU for sponsoring this amazing program!

Tweens and teens had a lot of fun exploring their creativity as they made fossil charms out of clay and using some nature stamps from our Library of Things collection. We have quite a few craft items in our Library of Things. Visit https://mybcls.org/199/Library-of-Things to browse the collection.

We merged art into our science at our Saturday STEM as we made some awesome sun prints using special cyanotype paper and the power of the sun.

We had a lot of summer fun this week! We can't wait to see what's coming up!
