Please note, this class begins sharply at 8am.
Description- This is the North Carolina Justice Academy approved concealed carry class that is required for residents of North Carolina to obtain a concealed carry handgun permit. This is a cold range meaning no loaded handguns are allowed until instructed for the live fire portion of the class. The course includes classroom instruction, a written multiple choice 20 question test, and range qualification after.
The range qualification is 10 rounds each at 3, 5 and 7 yards and the student must pass with a 70% or higher. Upon successful completion of the class, you will receive your CCW certificate which you will then take to your local sheriff’s office and use to apply for the permit.
Please dress appropriate for the weather, please wear close toed shoes, no low-cut tops and no skirts.
-Cost is 120$ and must be paid before class is taken.
-A 20$ non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot in the class. If balance is paid in full upon registration only 100$ is considered refundable should the student cancel. Options also exist to apply the balance to a future class.
