As President of my local PEO chapter, I had the opportunity to present two of the four scholarships we award each year to outstanding young women in the Andover Public Schools.
Reading their applications is always inspiring. These young women are driven, accomplished, and deeply engaged - not simply participating in activities, but taking initiative, leading efforts, and making meaningful contributions in their schools and communities. Their resumes reflect dedication, hard work, and a commitment to creating impact.
Choosing just four recipients is never easy because so many applicants are incredibly deserving. I’m grateful for the dedicated committee members who help make these important decisions! It's a great way to spend the evening with friends who want to make an impact in our community.
Next month, we look forward to honoring these remarkable young women at a special dinner and reception, where they will connect with our PEO members and see firsthand how women can continue supporting their communities while empowering future generations.
I was one of many people representing local organizations and businesses presenting scholarships at Andover High yesterday. It is so good to see our community come together to invest in these students. Congratulations to all of this year's graduates!
When I met Caleb and Jill a few months ago, I knew I'd like to spend more time with them! They are so knowledgable about ACT and SAT test prep and college admissions, and really just fun to be around.😉
So I jumped at the chance to appear on their podcast. Check out this conversation we had about my assessment process and how it can help students become more motivated about their future.
