Three separate motor vehicle crashes on Route 495 this morning brought Ambulances 1, 2, and 3 together at Merrimack Health Lawrence Hospital.

Having three ambulances in-service ensures that we are able to provide a high level of service to our community.

We are proud to serve the Town of Andover.

We would like to take a moment to extend our deepest gratitude to the Good Samaritans who stop at the scenes of accidents to assist those In need, particularly those who stepped in to help at the scene we responded to late last night.

Lives were saved because of your quick thinking and actions!

In the chaos that often accompanies these emergency situations, these individuals are rarely given the recognition they truly deserve. Without hesitation, they set aside their own plans and put their own safety at risk for the sole purpose of helping a stranger in need. They provide life-saving care with little more than their own compassion and, once the professionals arrive, they quietly return to their business.
We recognize that witnessing such traumatic events can take a heavy emotional toll and may weigh on your mind long after you have driven away. Please know that your actions do not go unnoticed. We, along with the patients and families you have helped, are profoundly grateful for your bravery and kindness.
