Story Time…
Want to know how I came up the name for Mega Pines?
I was trying hard to think of a name - I wanted it to have something to do with National Parks but didn’t really know what … then all of the sudden what appears on Tik Tok? The Johnny Depp trial! I was so entertained! I had laughed so hard in a long time! It was hill-air-ee-us!!! Hilarious!
Then he says “a mega pint? I had a mega pint?” And it was so funny!!
Then my mind though Mega Pint… Mega Pines!!
Our daughter is Meag (Meagan) and it has the same letters and Pines for all the trees and Mega is the opposite of Mini and all the yard games we’re going to be Mega sized that it was just like ya!
Mega Pines!!
So special shout out to Amber Heard! If she wasn’t such a ……. ( fill in the blank with whatever suits your thoughts) no telling what it would have been named!!
They start paving next week! It is going to be so fun! Hope it comes together in reality as well as it is in my mind!
It will take a bit to get all the fencing and barriers in place but it should be open for people to walk it, jog in or bike it very soon!
We will a sk that if you do come to walk it you park in the grass area on the east side down there towards the south, rather than up by the building.
It is free to walk the path, use at your own risk, know your limits! Watch children closely near water !
If you want to come up here and just play yard games it is $5 a person. $12.00 per child 12.50 for adults for mini golf. We do have water and pop for $2, chips and snacks for $2 or you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks (adult beverages are ok to- if you are responsible)!
Hope you guys enjoy the place as much as we have enjoyed building it!
