Out of the Horrors of War, Emerged Trench Art – Kovels We know November 11 as Veteran’s Day, but it was originally observed as Armistice Day, commemorating the ceasefire ending World War I in 1918. In honor of the upcoming holiday, we are looking at another tradition that comes from World War I: trench art.
