Meet **Pecan**, a sweet little Chihuahua mix who came into our care with a severe eye injury. Despite everything she had been through, Pecan remained gentle, trusting, and full of love.

After being examined by our Veterinarian, it was determined that her injured eye could not be saved and had to be surgically removed to relieve her pain and prevent further complications. While the surgery was successful, Pecan still needs ongoing care, medications, follow-up veterinary visits, and plenty of support as she recovers.

Unexpected medical cases like Pecan's place a significant financial strain on our rescue, and we are asking for your help. Any donation—large or small—will go directly toward covering the cost of her surgery and continued medical care.
