We’re streamlining operations at the jail and merging staff to save costs to taxpayers. Our restructuring will carry over to the new facility opening later this year.

In conjunction with the courts, we’ll soon use opioid settlement money to hire a jail navigator and a social worker to start guiding the process of inmate intake to get them the services they need while they’re at our facility.

Electing the right Sheriff matters. Now’s not the time for on-the-job training.

Crime rates continue to fall in Madison County as tax revenues continue to decline. All of county government, including the Sheriff’s Department, is feeling pressure to accomplish more with less while avoiding cuts to Public Safety.

Under Sheriff Beeman’s leadership, his staff is building morale, lowering turnover, modernizing the Department, and preparing professional leaders for tomorrow. The Beeman administration is equipping officers with new safety gear, streamlining jail operations, and soon implementing newly expanded and innovative mental health and addiction treatment services for jail inmates.

After seeing a two-year crime surge from 2018 to 2022 during the previous Sheriff’s administration, our Madison County Sheriff’s Department continues to suppress crime in 2026. Under Republican Sheriff Beeman’s leadership, arrests for violence and property crimes have fallen to levels not seen in many years.

We’re fortunate to have low crime, considering the Sheriff’s Department already operates on the leanest possible budget – as it has the entire four years of the Beeman administration. In fact, every dollar of the Sheriff’s budget is voted on and approved by the County Council to ensure that a rogue Sheriff can’t go on lavish spending sprees.

Duty. Honor. Country.

Those three words were instilled in me as I entered the United States Army in 1984. They emphasize the importance of service, integrity, and commitment.

To this day, I have conducted my professional and personal life following these words. They are a part of my core values and principles that guide me. I have lived a life of service to this country, state and my community.

I am eager and would be honored to complete a 2nd term as your Sheriff.

To my friends in Jackson Township:

This year, I want to help the Republican Party by running for Precinct Committeeman of Jackson Township. At the precinct level is where grassroots politics begins. I believe it’s time for an outsider and man of action who keeps his promises.

I’ll get answers to your questions about voting and help your friends & family get registered to vote. I will identify Republican candidates who will best address the needs of Jackson Township. I’ll pass along my recommendations for candidates who share our conservative Republican values. I’ll get you set up to vote by mail for when you’re out of town.

Look for Precinct Committeeman at the bottom of your ballot. I appreciate your vote on or before May 7th in the Republican Primary.
