So, I have hinted at this over the course of a few months, but now its time to bring it to the front... even though it's still months in the future. Our part-- the entire historic artifact collection (including reproductions) will be on display for 2 days: July 4-5! Along with other organizations with historic displays.

We will be partnering with Mountain City Church in putting together a weekend event celebrating our nation's 250th birthday! It will be held in their school gym. Volunteers are needed at many levels. There are still details yet to be confirmed, but the event WILL happen. A FB event will also be created in the coming months. BUT plan now to do your fishing/ camping excursion the weekend before or after, this local event will be worthy of a 250th celebration.
