What is the traditional problem?-No ground.
Even if you'll make separate ground line the wiring system in old houses doesn't have ground wire(!).

So, there is not much sense in new breaker panel if you are not changing your cables.

Burned 15-year old receptacle replacement.

Circuit breaker tripped but too late.

SOLUTION:
installing at the beginning of the line GFCI-receptacle which will make all the kitchen line much safer.
Installing 15amp breaker instead of 20A which will be more sensitive for short circuits.

However, due to the NEC code 2025 all receptacles at the kitchen should be GFCI-protected.

INSPECTION showed that all receptacles have strong wear and corrosion signs on contacts inside(red oxidized metal).

Rather then possible short circuit inside of the outlet was caused by corrosion.

RECOMENDATION:
Highly prefered to check your receptacles in high-humid spaces(bathroom, kitchen) every 2 years. Every 10 years prefferably to replace them as you might not see the corrosion situation inside.
Tharts why GFCI is required in mentioned spaces: they are a prorecting from the shock and very sensitive for ground fault.

Preventive electrical inspection is the only way to avoid possible fire in the house.

Kitchen range receptacle installation.
60ft wire pulling distance.
Client required 8/3 wire by the reasonhe already have double pole circuit breaker and his range is not exceeding 40a power load.
Finally I succeded to change his mind and use 6/3.
Why?
First of all 6/3 nm-b cable allows you to install 50a breaker in future and install more heavy kitchen range.
Saving 200$ on wire might be a toothache in future.

LAKE of oil! Honda ridgeline 3.5 V6 155k miles. This is what happen if engine is not maintained well enough. Even tough engine cant stand it.
As rather than possible valve sealing rings are leaking hard- this is the reason of such a large carbon deposits inside and oil lake.
Such engine burns gallons of the oil and soon will cause exhaust catalyst obstruction. It will cause power loose and later overheating. As a result-rapid engine death.
This engine is no sense to repair as the cost higher then engine swap.
To prevent such situations it is highly recommended to make at least annual COMPLEX DIAGNOSIS!
