Our hearts are with our friends and partners and especially All Alaska Pediatric Partnership as we all remember Donna and the large impact she had on our community.

Donna was a familiar face at our annual Parent Conference, where she welcomed everyone with a warm smile, often a heartfelt hug, and a genuine kindness that made people feel seen and valued. She always made time for others, and her positive spirit left a lasting impression on so many in our community.

We are grateful to have known Donna and extend our deepest condolences to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.

Our hearts are broken. Our organization has experienced an unimaginable loss with the passing of our team member and friend, Donna Reisinger, in a car accident, earlier this week.

Donna joined A2P2 in January 2024 as our Communications & Training Coordinator, and she brought so much heart into everything and everyone she touched here. The impact she left on A2P2 and on us all will never be forgotten - she was a person made up of kindness, generosity, enthusiasm, contagious silliness, and she will be sorely missed.

We are still finding the words for all she meant to us and holding her family close as they bravely stand by their young child who was injured as well.

We are learning of just how many people in Alaska and beyond are feeling this tremendous loss, and how similarly they experienced Donna as the wonderful person she was. We're taking some comfort in witnessing the love and support Donna's family has been shown by everyone around them.

The spirit of this quote is captured in our Mentor Advocate Partner (MAP) program. Caregivers with lived experience are paired with families who are just starting their journey or have reached a place they could really use a support and/or a helping hand.

Please consider becoming a mentor for the MAP program. We provide the training, and you bring your voice and story to share and together we can create supports for families, so they do not have to travel these roads alone. Our next MAP Mentor training is coming up on August 1st! Register to attend the training at the link below by July 18th and join us in creating a network of support for all.

The right speaker does more than fill a time slot.

They help people understand something differently.

When I speak, I bring my perspective as an attorney, author, advocate, and neurodiversity expert to conversations that matter.

My goal is to help organizations better understand inclusion, accessibility, and what it really means to support neurodivergent people.

Because when stories are shared with purpose, they can change the way people think, lead, and work.
