Next Level Alaska - NLA

NLA got to scrimmaging against a 6th grade team in Raleigh. They were a very impressive team who was very welcoming and encouraging to our AK boys. It is a MUCH faster style of basketball down here, three of the 12 year olds attempted to dunk during play. Same age is bigger, stronger and faster. Our boys stepped up to the challenge, it was good for them to experience what it takes to bring your game to the “Next Level”.

Nothing like an outdoor pool and water slides when it’s 93 degrees out! NLA boys U12 🏀had some fun in the sun on their final afternoon in Charlotte. They were able to enjoy poolside lunch with the other youth in the area through one of the summer programs. Everyone here has been very welcoming

Next Level Alaska boys U12 🏀 team made it to Raleigh, NC. This is the place they will call home for their final week. It was 95 degrees today. Very fun evening playing ball with the locals. Kids are able to enter all rec centers for free in NC to play basketball, ain’t that somethin? The staff kept coming up saying thank you for coming and how impressed they were with the kids behavior. The boys made new friends with some Raleigh kids who were so welcoming of us all. They came right up to say hi and make sure the boys were signed up to play. It’s a much faster style of play here. Much faster
