Travel north from Anchorage by motorcoach and watch the landscape turn wild. Spend two nights near the park entrance, giving you plenty of time to explore. The highlight is a guided bus tour into Denali National Park to search for the "Big Five": moose, bears, wolves, Dall sheep, and caribou.

For the return trip, trade the bus for the train. You will ride the Alaska Railroad back to Anchorage, enjoying open-air decks and large picture windows the whole way home.
