Last week, Mt. Edgecumbe High School, hosted a Cultural Banquet, led by Food Services General Manager Cadi Dusuntia and the NMS dining team, bringing together students, families, and cultural dancers for the largest banquet of the year. Featuring Indigenous-inspired dishes like Elk Stew, Salmon Flower Soup, Black Cod Fish Bake, Fry Bread, and Herring Eggs, the evening celebrated traditions that reminded many families of home.

The event showcased the power of culture, hospitality, and teamwork. Huge congratulations to Cadi and the entire Mt. Edgecumbe team for creating such a meaningful and memorable experience for the school community.
