The title: For The Sake of All Students... is a long-standing passion project of mine. For a decade, I have worked with some of the most remarkable individuals-- teachers, administrators, support staff, etc. who truly have one goal that drives everything they do... help students succeed. The challenge is that the field of education is in desperate need of serious change.

As educators, we are passionate and deeply driven to serve the students that greet us at the door each morning; however, the environmental contexts in which these students are living is vastly different than it was even a few years ago. We need to adapt to the times and to the needs of the students before us in order to ensure that they are getting the tools, strategies, and support to be successful in this rapidly changing world.

For the Sake of All Students aims to tackle some of the leading challenges we are facing in today's classrooms. This first post, entitled... Implement SEL Cohesively Into Daily Practices, seeks to encourage administrators to support their teachers in what they do inherently every day-- meet students where they are at, and provide them with what they need.
