Yesterday I shared in class, something that brought me joy in those early postpartum months of juggling life with a toddler and newborn: sitting outside under the shade of our backyard tree. 🌳

Although it was a hassle, and oftentimes led to water or mud play for my toddler, it brought us both so much joy to just get out of the house - even if we didn’t actually go anywhere. And baby got to nap in the fresh air and sunshine! ☀️

So this was us a large majority of Summer 2019: picnics and water play and shady snoozes and sometimes an afternoon glass of Sauv Blanc. 🥂
