Mister sad eyes Eeyore💜
Eeyore is eight years old and found himself outside, fending for himself when his owner passed away. Family members had supposedly released him and some other cats outside into the neighborhood so that they did not have to deal with the cats.
Eeyore‘s owner had fixed him and previously had dental extractions done for him as he had a lot of perfectly missing teeth, which means she took wonderful care of him.
He is not a lap cat, but he is very gentle and docile. He shows affection in his own way by laying in bed with you and wanting to be around you fairly often around the house.
He gets along with other kitties and is not dominant whatsoever.
He’s very chill and low maintenance. He does have a sensitive stomach so he eats particular food. other than that, he is perfectly healthy!

CLOSED for intake all summer.
We have been saying that we are closed on the intake of new animals for the last couple of weeks. Why would a rescue close their doors to animals in need? Financials and lack of fosters.

We have a few stable foster parents. Not nearly enough to house over 100 animals at a time. But here we are with already 97 animals in our care.

We are constantly asked to help but never have enough people asking us if WE need help. We are not an endless pit to drop animal related problems onto. If you have concerns or need help, then you’ll offer some type of help as well if you truly cared for the animals you are asking us to help.

For now we will only be moving forward with our TNR locations which are already very backed up.

What help can we offer? We will continue helping feeders fix their colonies. If you are a feeder and cannot transport, trap or help recover, you are moved to the bottom of our list. Why? Because we have 40 locations split amongst TWO people.

Eventually we won’t be able to do this type of work anymore with little resources. But with the help of more people, we can save more lives.
