Forever Song Cosplay

Seeing as Star Wars Celebration LA tickets went on sale yesterday, today’s post is throwing it back to one of the costumes I brought to my first Celebration (Chicago). Duchess Satine Kryze is one of my favorite Star Wars characters and this is my favorite outfit of hers. I didn’t have it fully done in time for Chicago, but it was wearable so I took it for a spin anyway! She was an absolute labor of love that I’m not sure I could ever even replicate if I wanted to. 😆 I’m still so proud of this one and am glad I will always have amazing an photoshoot by enshrining it.

Happy Star Wars month! ✨ I’m a touch late, but wanted to spend the next few days reminiscing on some of the cosplays and outfits the galaxy far, far away has inspired and share the good memories I’ve had because of it. 🩵 Kicking it off with Padmé Amidala! I finished this whilst 8 months pregnant and just in time for Star Wars Nite at Disneyland. Made a couple fixes after that night and got it submitted for Rebel Legion approval the week before having my daughter (yeah, it was a feat…). Got approved in August and hopefully I can wear it sometime, albeit with a fake belly next time 😆
