In our ongoing efforts to improve our employee benefit offerings, earlier this year, we were pleased to announce a comprehensive and customizable 401k plan for our team members. This plan was unique for a few reasons. (1) the plan was fully vested for every team member on day one. We know that loyalty is earned, and we wanted every team member to know that we were committed to their future. (2) the plan included a 3% employer contribution REGARDLESS of each team members contribution. This meant that employees with other expenses and financial burdens did not have to ‘wait to save.’ (3) Finally, the 401k plan offers a variety of portfolios including ethical and sustainable portfolios focusing on green investments.
